Frequently Asked Questions

If you can’t find the answers you are looking for at our FAQs please contact us with any additional questions you may have. Thanks and see you on the water!

Row on the Go includes a variety of listings used to connect rowers.  Individuals or clubs can post listings related to boats for rent, boats in need of rowers, boats in need of coxswains, and rowers who are available to row.  A step by step guide to posting a listing can be found below in the Create Listing FAQs.

You must create an account to post a listing (boat, rower, coxswain etc), but an account is not required to see the listings available for various regattas.  Just click on the regatta in question to see the various listings others have posted.

  • There are no costs associated with a listing for a rower or coxswain.  There is a cost for listing a boat for rent.
  • “Sellers” (a club or organization with a boat to rent) pay on a “per listing” basis.  After your account is created, you will post a listing with information about the boat you have available to rent. You will then make a one-time payment for that listing. If you, as the “seller” connect with a “buyer” and funds are needed to be transferred, you will coordinate that transaction outside of our platform. At this time ROTG will not be processing payments on your behalf.

You can search for rowing events and competitions by using the event filter tool on our homepage.  You can sort by location, date, or event type to find opportunities that fit your interests.
